FWIW:

After receiving a Princeton 1700 17" lcd monitor for christmas, and
hooking it up with ease, I'd like to recommend it wholeheartedly. The
increase in screen resolution when running at the native 1280x1024
resolution is amazing, and the clarity is very good. The My wife told me
what the price was (at my insistance). $219 after $80 rebate from
buy.com. Looks like princeton still has the rebate going. I'm impressed
with the monitor, as well as my wife for researching so thoroughly. The
response time of 16ms is excellent. All in all a keeper.
