gentoo kernel upgrade problems

A few weeks ago there was a link mentioned in the Gentoo weekly news
letter that pointed to an excellent link that listed the steps needed to
update your 2.4 kernel to 2.6 on Gentoo. It is not just the kernel that
needs updating. Check the GWL archives (wherever they are). If that
leads to nothing, let me know an I will look for the link. I used it
when I moved to 2.6.
