| I'm pretty neutral about gentoo installation. I've only used the
| install procedure twice in the last 4 years, so the manual process
| is fine for me. There are those, however, who want to do multiple
| installs, and a graphical installer, or even a well maintained set
| of shell scripts (there are some being developed) would be a boon
| for these folks. I find the argument that we don't need a better
| installer to be achronistic (I almost said lame, but I don't want
| to offend). I wouldn't be offended by a simple installer that asked
| me a few questions and then triggered all the untars, emerges, etc.
