Ubuntu CD's for Free

Lest this discussion degrade any further into the usual "elimination"
contest, let me summarize:

1. ubuntu worked for some, but not for me.
2. redhat/fedora has some advantages and some disadvantages.
3. debian has some advantages and some disadvantages
4. gentoo has some advantages and some disadvantages.
5. Pick almost any other distro, and the same thing can be said as in 2-4.
6. Many of us start from fairly extreme positions (my distro is better
than your distro), but we are not likely to convince the opposition
whose needs are being met by another distro.
7.There is some truth in each position taken in this thread, but there
is no perfect Linux distro.
8. A little humor goes a long ways.
