That might work great for someone with a small operation, or the home
user, but in large scale enterprise environments, there is no 'during the
night'.  My night is the middle of a business day in Asia or Europe.  And
if you're building everything from source on a single box, and then
deploying the binaries everywhere, you just nullified the entire advantage
of gentoo.  I can just as easily deploy binaries from Redhat and not have
to worry about the hassles of maintaining build environments.
