|Running setserial I get:

Hmm.  Do you have IR turned on in the BIOS?  Note the two different
ports (0 and 2) sharing the same IRQ.  Not all hardware can do this (at
least not successfully).  I'd do something about port 2 (turn it off,
change the IRQ, whatever) and try again.

|So, from this I would decuce that I have two serial ports, 0 & 1.  I 
|would guess that they are set up to work or setserial wouldn't give 
|me information on them.  However, perhaps that is my problem.  If 
|more info is required on the serial ports, how would I devine it?
