Nvidia driver on Fedora Core 3

Like others, I experienced trouble trying to install the nvidia driver
on FC 3. Now by chance, I found that on
http://rpm.livna.org/livna-switcher.html
there are packages offered for various versions of the FC3 kernels (up
to now, I was happy with the kernel rpms supplied by fedora).
You can either download the kernel-module-nvidia version that exactly
matches your kernel (you'll need the nvidia-glx package as well) or,
when you have pointed your apt configuration to livna.org, simply do
	apt-get install kernel-module-nvidia
All the tweakings and changes to xorg.conf are automagically done by the
installation script.
