Now I know why I have always avoided Red Hat systems.
As a part of a local project for training new Linux Users, I agreed to
modify an OpenOffice for beginners manual. The author of the manual
has only worked on windows, so I agreed to add instructions for File
Save As, etc., for Linux users. Lo and behold, the #$@!ing ___wipes at
Fedora have seen fit to replace the OO Save As dialog box with some
non-standard piece of crap that only allows the user to save in the
home directory. Not even possible to save into one of your
subdirectories!
I should have know better. Pitch theis POS. Next distro, please.
