global vs local internet

Yep. And as an example, in Saudi Arabia, the national internet is,
effectively, not connected to the outside. Except at one point of
contact, where all activity is monitored/controlled. At that one point
they block porn sites and other sites considered inappropriate. Must be
some task. But this from a nation that has acres of people who go
through each magazine and blacks out all inappropriate photos.
