having a job that you love, where you feel part of a talented
and motivated company, where your opinion counts and is respected,
and where you continue to be productive while having the time of
your life.

While I consider myself lucky to have once worked in that kind of
environment (over 20 years ago), I am also cursed with comparing
every job I have had since with it.  The current job always pales
in the comparison.

The collapse of the "tech market" has and will continue to produce
stories like this.  It is not a new story.  What is new is the
number of the companies that are falling, victims of greed and at
the expense of its employees and investors.

I'm going back under my rock now.
