Tom Podnar  died in his sleep from a heart attack on Saturday night.<br>

As Joe said as well, he had just spoken with Tom last week.  So did I just a<br>
week or two after that immediately after the New Year.  He sounded fine.<br>

I'm sorry to have no other information.  Tom was a mainstay of this group<br>
for the first15 or 20 years or so, though he stopped using FilePro very<br>
early on.  He may have had a tiny part of his accounting still using a very<br>
early version of the program.<br>

It will be hard to find an expert of his level regarding archiving data.  It<br>
will also be hard to find someone to call in the middle of the night when<br>
doing a difficult restore simply could not wait until morning.  He was one<br>
of those people who was always there.<br>

We all did lose a really good one there.<br>
