Try setting PFTMP if not set.<br>
<br>
Try removing edits - I have seen that table corrupted. Make sure
you do not have more than 200 edits active. Global + local
edits. It screws up some pointers and results can be really
strange.<br>
<br>
Can you select the same records without any processing and dump a
report?<br>
<br>
Does it use a selection table that is corrupt or self referencing?<br>
<br>
You need to figure if it is the data or the programming. I have
seen instances of all these things being corrupted and causing
weird results.<br>
<br>
Did you look at the auto table - is it there? do you use it?<br>
<br>
Could you be hitting a token table limit? FilePro usually reports
this accurately, but DIM's and such might do it.<br>
<br>
Just my thoughts. You never say if it is Windows or *NIX but
maybe I missed it.<br>
<br>
Good luck. <br>

For now, writing a PHP script to parse "map" and extract data from
"key" based

on "map" definition. The advantage of flat text .... ;-)

Only fP-Tech can fix this. It's a bad pointer error, which
indicates

faulty coding or bad data...or both.

I am able to navigate the files in every way possible within
the filePro
<br>
application
<br>
and directly via filePro menu but, no go when attempting to
run dreport.
<br>
<br>
The format is very simple - output is of a "report" type
sorting by full
<br>
length only
<br>
one field without any subtotals.
<br>
<br>
The processing table is a single line like so:
<br>
<br>
zz=1<"~"<2<"~"<3<"~"<4<"~"<5<"~"<6<"~"<7<"~"<8<"~"<9
<br>
<br>
memory? missing library? bad binaries?
<br>
<br>
I do not think it is memory since I have nothing else running
and I often
<br>
run a lot of
<br>
SQL queries on this machine without issues - in addition to
video and audio
<br>
editing.
<br>
<br>
If missing library, why am I able to run IUA without a
problem? Of course,
<br>
dclerk and
<br>
dreport may be using different libraries but what do I know
...
<br>
<br>
As per bad binaries, it is possible that my installation (some
God knows how
<br>
long ago)
<br>
was not 100% problem free and the dreport binaries are bad but
how can I
<br>
confirm or
<br>
eliminate that other than the fact that I am getting this
error?
<br>
<br>
Thank you all in advance for you assistance!
