    <p>All,</p>

    <p>Apologies for the bother. I am on a production 4.5 SCO unix

      filepro system (not changing at this time).  Due to a control

      number having to be expanded, we have to change the length of a

      field.  However when I attempt to do that I get the following:</p>

    <p>*** A System Error Has Occurred ***<br>

      <br>

      Error checking free disk space:<br>

      /hd1: Invalid argument<br>

    </p>

    <p>/hd1 is a valid drive and everything else works.</p>

    <p>fppath looks like this:</p>

    <p>/hd1/appl<br>

      /hd1<br>

      /appl<br>

      <br>

      Any suggestions? permissions on /hd1 are set to 777, and I tried

      changing the owner to filepro.<br>
