Here is the situation after switching to Windows 10: (1) when I click on the desktop icon, FilePro opens in full screen mode and displays properly; (2) if I want FilePro in just a window (as I did under Windows 7), rather than occupying the full screen, I can try clicking on the Windows “restore down” icon but the result is an unusable display – there are blank black rows between every real row of text, and the entire FilePro menu screen cannot be seen at the same time, nor will scrolling get to all parts of it; (3) if I start a DOS command window first, then execute fulldev.bat, everything is pretty much back to normal, and I am okay. I can work with FilePro in a window, and not have it covering the entire screen.

So that led me to think that there must be some property setting(s) in the desktop icon for the shortcut to FilePro that need(s) to be changed for Windows 10, but after trying a few things unsuccessfully, I decided to find out if anybody else has already run into this. I don’t know if this matters, but when installing Windows 10 , I opted to NOT use the express settings, and instead took the ‘custom’ route and pretty much declined all the things Microsoft wanted to do to supposedly make my life easier.

Rich
