It is a PHP based API using MySQL as a DB Engine but optionally, map out filePro in the back-end as well.<br><br>I have lots of ideas that I "need" to get out of my system and get it over with! lol<br><br></div>My problem is that I hit a brick wall installing filePro and I cannot get assistance from Support Dept. in fpTech (no offense there) - it has been at least 3 days since the last contact and I'm stilling wondering how to resolve this.<br><br></div>What I've done and where I encounter problem:<br></div>(1) Download fp runtime/development [ OK ]<br></div>(2) Unzip / Untar [ OK ]<br></div>(3) cd /tmp/fpinstall [ OK ]<br></div>(4) ./finish [OK ]<br></div>(5) Go through motions and answer questions [ OK ]<br></div>(6) No visible errors but ends up saying that it is removing /appl ...<br><br></div>While troubleshooting:<br></div>(1) cd /tmp/fpinstall/inst/fp [ OK ]<br></div>(2) ls -l (files are shown) [ OK ]<br></div>(3) ./dxmaint [ ERROR: No such file ] ????<br></div>(4) ldd dxmaint [ ERROR: No such file ] ????<br></div>(5) file dxmaint [ OK ] <br><br></div>Something is missing and I just cannot put my finger on it ... fpTech does not seem to have a "documented" process of known issues and solutions :-(<br><br></div>If there are dependencies, what are they?<br><br>Thank you all in advance!<br><br><br><br></div>Jose Lerebours<br>954 559 7186<br clear="all"><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><br>-- <br><div class="gmail_signature"><div dir="ltr"><div>---<br></div>Jose Lerebours<br>954 559 7186<br></div></div>
