<DIV><FONT face="">>So am I (I still have moderating

<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>This is why I asked before I posted it, Mark. Your reply above is
what I based my decision on.<BR><BR>Look, I had a need to remove a site password
that I didn’t remember putting on one of my old systems.<BR>I wasn’t going to
pay several hundred dollars to have the password removed, when programs
like</DIV>
<DIV>Docgen from John Esak would remove/bypass the password. I contacted
John and he couldn’t remember</DIV>
<DIV>exactly how he did it. It was a long time ago, back in the mid
80’s.<BR><BR>I spent a weekend figuring out how I could remove the password from
several of MY old processing tables</DIV>
<DIV>that ended up with a password, that I don’t ever remember putting on.
Maybe I did, I just don’t remember</DIV>
<DIV>ever doing that. I don’t like passwords on my stuff.<BR><BR>I use to
be a filePro developer back in the mid 80’s to 1992. Since then I have
only used filePro for myself.<BR>I have created a book with all kinds of notes,
tips and tricks that I have learned over the years, including</DIV>
<DIV>stuff that I was told I wasn’t suppose to know about. I have never
let any of this information out and never</DIV>
<DIV>will.<BR><BR>Like I said before, I kept this information to myself, other
than sharing it with my old friend Larry Hoover, who </DIV>
<DIV>is an active filePro developer. I felt he may have the need for
the info, especially if he takes over an account </DIV>
<DIV>from someone who is no longer active writing filePro programs and can’t be
reached anymore, </DIV>
<DIV>and there is a password on the system.<BR><BR>My intent is not malicious,
but to be helpful to people who may need to remove a processing table
password.<BR>There are fewer and fewer people using filePro anymore and a couple
of people I knew from the 80’s and 90’s</DIV>
<DIV>who use to write filePro programs for others have either retired and are no
longer reachable or they have</DIV>
<DIV>passed away.<BR><BR>So you tell me...... Should I remove the information
from my web page or not?</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>This is why I don’t participate in the filePro group.</DIV>
