<div dir="ltr">Good morning,<div><br></div><div>I have recently migrated to Windows from UNIX, so I'm still learning the differences. The version is 5.07 running on Windows 7. The default printer in filePro is set and works fine. But there are a couple of work stations, I would like to change that default to a different printer. All the printers are installed on the server and shared over the network.</div>
<div><br></div><div style>I tried putting the PFPRINTER=\\server\printer in the Windows batch file, no luck. </div><div style><br></div><div style>Testing, I added an environmental variable using the Windows "advanced settings" on the server, When I added the PFPRINTER variable, that worked, overriding the filePro default printer. When I tried to do the same thing on a client computer using \\server\printer, as the value, it didn't change. There were no errors when I loaded the menu, but it printed to the filePro default rather than my local override.</div>
<div style><br></div><div style>Is there a trick I'm missing here?</div><div style><br></div><div style>Thank you in advance.</div><div style><br></div><div style>Dan McCabe</div></div>
