</o:shapelayout></xml><![endif]--></head><body lang=EN-US link=blue vlink=purple><div class=WordSection1><p class=MsoNormal>I know we have gone over this but I want to find out if anyone or their client’s may be having the same problem.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>I have 2 clients running fp 5.6.10 one on windows server 2003 and the other 64 bit server 2008.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Both have a file with over 1.5 million records. In both cases new records are added from a “header” file. In both cases data is entered into dummy fields and posted to the other file using a lookup free.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Both clients are having freechain problems.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>In one case records are added but not deleted; in the other, these are order details and if the detail line is not being shipped, the detail is deleted. This can be about 2,000 detail line per day. On average 5 order clerks entering about 200 orders per day with about 20 plus details each. Percentage wise this is not a lot of records being deleted.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Is anyone else experiencing this type of problem.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>One point, all lookups which write to these files are protected. <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Richard Kreiss<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p></div></body></html>
