<html><head><style type="text/css"><!-- DIV {margin:0px;} --></style></head><body><div style="font-family:times new roman, new york, times, serif;font-size:12pt"><DIV>I am sure some of you use CutePDF Writer, the free pdf generator. I have never had a problem with using it along with any Windows program.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Today I was thinking that since CutePDF is listed as a Windows printer I should be able to add it to my printer definitions in filePro (ODBC 5.0.15). I used the command Win: CutePDF Writer. This is the Windows name.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>I changed the fp.bat file to set this as my printer. I then ran a report and sure enough that CutePDF box is displayed asking for a file name and location. And I go to check and yes it created the pdf with the correct name.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Now the problem and you knew there had to be one. The PDF file that is created has nothing in it and is only 1 byte in size.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Anyone have a clue as to the problem and more importantly a solution?</DIV>
