fileProODBC using Excell spreadsheets. Th Excell sheets have a link to
our ERP databases written in Microsoft SQL Server. Each night I
update 9 spreadsheets and run a batch file that updates filePro. Since I
will be retiring in the near future I need to make this function simpler.
The answer would seem to be to use the ODBC portion of fp.<o:p></o:p></p>

SQL database, one other solution would be to create an intermediate filepro
file(s) mapped to the sql file(s). You can then write any processing needed to
update your filepro records from the intermediate file. Not an elegant
solution but should work with a minimum of programming.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
