<DIV>Hi Bob,</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>You know the minute I wrote that I thought I should put a note that this was in no way to put Print Wizard in a bad light. The computer skill level of my people vary from good to gawd awful. For the longest time they would use formats like rtf, snap, Word and even html to generate outputs that would have to be attached to emails. </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>I used CutePDF for them because all they had to do in almost any program was enter the name for the output and click [OK]. Since I set up a default folder for any and all outputs to be attached, this was all they have to do. All of our programs other than fp are Windows programs. You select CutePDF as you would any Windows printer.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Our system:</DIV>
<DIV>4 Windows servers; 2 Win2003, 1 Win 2003 Exchange and 1 Win 2000</DIV>
<DIV>20 Workstations either Win 2000 or XP Pro. Note: we haven't upgraded these because of limits in the MRP software we use.</DIV>
<DIV>filePro ODBC 5.0.15 and Print Wizard version 3 I have not configured and do not use Print Wizard. I just have not had the time to look at the manual.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>In a perfect world when using filePro, I would the user to either select Print Wizard from a list of printers or in some cases based on the batch file I will hard code it. Then just have them enter the file name to be saved as and if required the folder although this too could be a default.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>That's it. I know Print Wizard will also generate the email but baby steps first.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>If you can show me how to do the above we will use Print Wizard instead of CutePDF.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Thank you in advance,</DIV>
