Well it seems that i might have it all wrong, on the unix filepro utillity menu option 4 say's CONVERT FILES FROM MS-DOS FILEPRO I have used this before and it worked, i just pop in a diskette and it converts the database from dos format to the unix format nicely, but when i tried to access the database in unix useing file creation as an example i get this filepro error "File has been illegally modified"<BR>or are you guy's saying that, that option does not work anymore?<BR>
