had installed fP locally on the second client, which due to the PFPROG variable
being set, caused the second work station to be function correctly, yet the
first client (which I had initially set up), and subsequently deleted fP from,
to not function. I couldn’t understand why it worked from one and
not the other when they were both being run from the server.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><font size=2 color=navy face=Arial><span style='font-size:
10.0pt;font-family:Arial;color:navy'>Nancy P. suggested I confirm each fP
environment variable, which showed the error in PFPROG. The second work
station worked because even though I thought it was running from the server, it
was actually running locally. The only other issue I had was they set up
a new domain, and configured their RICOH copier via IP address, where before it
was UNC. I seem to remember discussion on how to setup the printer via IP
address in fP, but since this client uses Print Wizard, I configured it to
print all reports, instead of just certain ones (involving barcodes). I
have had no other issues with WIN2003 and fP, having several clients using it
for 1-2 years. <o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

of our other 4 servers runninng Win 2003. Have you run in to any other
issues? One thing I am a little concerned about is that the server we are

The PFDSK variable was properly set in the .BAT file. What I didn't realize<br>
was fP had been installed locally on both machines. We deleted the fP<br>
folder on the one machine to make sure it wasn't looking at that<br>
installation. That's when we lost the colors, etc. Your suggestion to use<br>
the set command listed the problem. %PFPROG% was set to the local C drive<br>
in the .BAT file. Since fP had previously been installed on both machines,<br>
then removed from one, I know new why it would work on one, but not the<br>
other. Setting PFPROG=F:\ took care of it. Thanks again,<br>
