go against the grain... but I do *not* use a form to print w2's, 1099's, etc. I
use a report format. This is an infinitely better choice. When you print w2's
for example... whether you print them on pin-feed or on the laserjet you ware
wanting to move to... you need to do a "totals" page. In fact, one totals page
for each state, and then one grand totals page for the federal government. By
using a report, you can avail yourself of filePro's ability to carry totals, and
print the X's for denoting totals pages in the right spot... If you use a
form to print your w2's, you lose this ability, unless you do a *lot* of work to
print the totals pages yourself.</STRONG></FONT></SPAN></DIV>

<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Hi:</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>I have a client that wants to switch from
printing 1098 and 1099 on dot matrix (one form at a time) to printing same on
laser. The standard laser form is three to a page vertical and the final
form goes all the way to the bottom of the page. I am not sure what the
right technique is to print these, the methods I have tried failed because
native filepro output skips to the next page before we get to the
bottom. I have tried varying page size, form size, etc., but only made
the problem worse. I'm sure others are doing this and just want to know
what is the right approach to printing these laser forms where there are
multiple forms down the page.</FONT></DIV>
