How about:

Finds maximum value of field "n" on output.

I forgot how to best display processing lines, but this was short.
Field 1 holds the values
Index A is built on Field 1
Input Processing
Add Records mode

 1
                    If:
              Then: end
-------------------------------------------------
  2
@wlf1        If:
               Then: aa(4,.0,g) = "9999"
-------------------------------------------------
  3 If:
                Then: lookup - k=(aa) i=a -el
-------------------------------------------------
  4 If:
                 Then: 1 = -(1) ; display ; end
-------------------------------------------------
Thank you
