Did you literally copy all of the termcaps that are on the SCO box and place them in the same places on your Linux box?

I seem to have had similar problem when I first moved to FreeBSD based filePro. 

Are you setting PFTERM and exporting it into the shell correctly?

Hades would be a place that you cannot escape. Once you are sure you are using the correct TERMCAP and you can see that your modifications are visible, it's a matter of time before you are back in Camelot.
