pftemp was set to /windows/temp and stopping the RPC files writing, so the process would run to the end but then not produce any output.
What the is best export method for data? Current I'm using the Open, Writeline. As the export ascii is only new line on each record.
Is using [tab] as field separator and [newline] as record separator the safest? As I can't guarantee the contents of some fields. I am lucky as there are no real memo fields, but there are some associated fields that make each line that make up note fields and the USERS have gone crazy in those. I found they have made pretty face picture shapes in some of them. (eg ./[o]~[o]\. Only much bigger.) Maybe running some "xlate's" to clean these fields, but my feeling is just export them 'as is' and use PHP to make them htmlsafe as it has more functions.

Where was it trying to write the temp files, and why did it fail only under IIS?
