Methinks something untoward is afoot. That link is to a very old article. Probably a great place to hide ransomware.

That article is horribly written.  All of that, and they fail to mention what the minimum safe version is.  You're just left to assume that what's on Adobe's download page right now is the fix.  Ugh.  That is a truly grievous sin in security reporting.
