hi experts

using the following menu line

/fp/dclerk Fname -s1 -b bname -H "blah blah ... blah"

user is selecting " 4 - Index Selection ", which will open up a browse
like below
   06/08/2018 FRI 6:00PM 11:00PM WEDD 7:00PM
    06/15/2018 FRI 6:00PM 11:00PM RECE
    06/29/2018 FRI 6PM 11:30PM CERE 7:30PM
    08/30/2018 TH 6PM 11PM CERE 6:30PM
    09/02/2018 SUN 5:30PM 11:00PM CERE 7PM
    09/16/2018 SUN 5pm 10:30pm Cere 6:30pm
    09/22/2018 SAT 6:00PM 11:00PM WEDD 7:00PM
    11/03/2018 SAT 5:30 11:00 CERE
       ***** END OF FILE *****
when the users selects the desired record & presses ENTER screen 1 will
display. Screen 1 is not in update mode.

*BUT*, sometimes, some of the browse information will stay on the
screen, causing user confusion. Pressing <CTL><L> redraws the screen,
but the user is challenged to press <CTL><L> or even remember what to do.

What filepro command will force a redraw of the screen before u is
pressed for the update? Where should the filepro redraw command be put
in the program?

thanks for the help
old tony
