A client running filePro on OSR 6 had one of its printers die.
An Hp LaserJet 400M401N is now on order. In an HP spec sheet, I see
it supports this set pf printer languages:
PCL 5e, PCL6, Postscript Level 3 emulation, directPDF(v1.7) printing.
I think that PCL 5e should accept the filePro's pcl3 output, yes?
If not, it's easy enough to use the pcl6 program to translate filePro's
pcl3 output to PS or PDF.
But I'm a tad concerned about that word 'emulation' attached to the
listing of Postscript, and why does HP specify 'directPDF'(one word
just as I've given it) instead of just PDF?
