The question was "while normal report formats break for subtotals on
their sort levels, and can therefore trigger @wbrk, is that also true of
processing-only formats, which don't *print* subtotal breaks?"

And since the answer, by inspection, is "no, you can't define subtotal 
breaks on the sorts in a processing-only format", then the answer to
Scott's question is also no.
