Subject: Off Topic: Importing To Ecxel
Hi All,
I am new to Excel and I want to some export data from filePro and import it
into Excel.
>From a CSV file, or other type of file, is there a way to import data
>into
Excel?
Thanks,
John Hemmer
Use
Where="c:\csv_files\mycsvfile.csv"
export word foobar=(where)
Note: I normally construct the location based on environmental variables set
by filePro as to drive and file locations. I can also redirect the location
based on the users.
Once the csv file has been created, open it in excel, adjust your column
widths and apply any other options. Do a save as excel workbook and your
set.
