Announcing Fairlight ProPal!
============================

Fairlight Consulting is pleased to announce the release of Fairlight
ProPal! ProPal is the easiest way to tie PayPal and filePro together that
you're likely to find.

PayPal's IPN (Instant Payment Notification) is an asynchronous,
"behind-the-scenes" method used to notify your business about instant
product and invoice payments, shopping cart purchases, subscriptions, and
more. IPN is also used to notify your software of "bookkeeping-oriented"
tasks like refunds, credits, chargebacks, and more.

ProPal includes a listener agent, which accepts IPN transactions from
PayPal, verifies them with PayPal as an anti-fraud measure, and then runs
an unlimited number of commands. The second half of ProPal is processing
designed to import each IPN transaction into one central "workspace"
database in filePro, with a unique identifier by which that information can
be looked up.

After that command is executed, you can execute "business rules" commands,
which can use that unique identifier to mine the data you want from that
associated transaction. You can store or delete whatever data you want,
wherever you want. The key thing is that accessing your verified IPN data
is a simple lookup away!

If you've wanted a hook for bringing PayPal transaction data into filePro,
you're not likely to find one simpler than this! Installation and
configuration is simple, and one can be up and receiving IPN transactions
inside filePro within 15 minutes (or less...I can do it in under five!).
There is, of course, the need to write your "business rules" code to mine
specific transaction types and do what you need to do behind the scenes
based on that incoming data. But your business logic gets quick access to
that data with no pain. If you can do a simple lookup, you can quickly and
easily integrate your solutions with PayPal via IPN using ProPal, all for
only $495 USD!
