One suggestion if you use terminal server is to purchase the server edition
of Printwizard if you are not using a network printer.  Even if you are,
this is a great  for the use of dumb windows printers, faxing ,emailing  and
creating PDF's from one program.

Sounds close to my ideal which would be just that on Linux. But, my client
isn't likely to convert his application for one customer. There's always a
possibility.

Terminal services makes the most sense in any case.
