No.  Once all 5.6 binaries have stopped using a filePro file, pre-5.6 
filePro binaries can use that file w/o lockfile issues.  It is only the 
_simultaneous_ use that will give an error.  (5.6 will complain that an 
older version of filePro is running, and pre-5.6 will give some other error.)

If you have a repeatable lockfile issue with running 5.6 and then pre-5.6, 
contact fpsupport.
