update on the SCO mounting hd thing...

Oops! I was wrong.  I had tried the advice of someone in the thread... I
forget who just now, but will look it up. He suggested typing "tools" at the
boot prompt. Which I did... This is what eventually brought me to the 3
piece menu with a drop to the shell on it. Pressing ENTER at boot did not.
However, when I did a 'dir" at the boot prompt, I did not see anything
called "tools", so maybe it's just typing *anything* there that causes
different than install behavior.

Anyway, thirty seconds to get to the shell then did:

Mount /dev/hd0root /mnt
Chroot /mnt /bin/sh
Passwd

Changed the root passwrod and all was exactly as Bill Campbell suggested it
would be.

Whew!
