Why?  One month after the Nth day of a given month is the Nth day of the
next month.  The only exception is when that would put it beyond the end
of the month, such as one month after Jan 31.

Or are you saying that one month after Feb 28, 2008 should be Mar 30, 2008,
as those are both the next-to-last day of the month?  What about one month
after Feb 27, 2008?  Should that be Mar 29, 2008, as both are two days
before the end of the month?  What about one month after Feb 1, 2008 being
Mar 3, 2008, as both are 28 days before the last day?

You also claim that it used to work the way you describe.  I can tell you
that it has always worked the way you are describing as being a "bug".  If
you have an example showing it as you describe, please post it.
