One thing I meant to mention earlier but forgot was my real dislike for the
popup style windows on the articles.  It's not the style, it's the fact
they pop a window at all.

This goes back to doing what a user has configured their system to do.
I've configured my browser to open all links in a new tab, not a new
window.  It's my strong opinion that using target="_blank" is the way to
go, so as to honour the user's preference settings--unless there is an
-extremely- compelling reason to pop a window.  An example might be one of
a certain dimension for a standalone Flash presentation that you can't
guarantee will fit in the existing window.

I'll give you this, though...at least you did the popup with size
correctly.  -NOTHING- on the web ticks me off more than a site that tries
to pop a window but instead resizes your actual whole main browser.  Ugh.

Still, I'd switch targetting schemes if it were me, and that's my
rationale.
