Hi Walter,

Thanks for your response.  It's right on point!  I had overlooked the -r
free option in the manuals description of Lookup,  because Lookup "looked"
so obvious.  And it's so much cleaner to generate records in a loop
instead of punching the Esc. a bunch of times.  Again,  thanks for taking
the trouble of writing it out in detail.

Thanks for the F3 key for record-insertion.  I actually did find that in
my reading subsequent to posting my query.  However,  I didn't notice the
F4 key.  so double thanks for that.
