As the account read, it was entirely unsolicited. Some sort of medical
text from a publisher that was a "complimentary copy". Couldn't return it
to them, couldn't give it to anyone due to the license agreement (in
theory...although I don't think I'd consider it binding), and couldn't even
destroy it, according to the letter of same.
It was in one of Cringely's columns, I think. Probably 1-2 years back.
