Thus I wonder why all the fuss about Linux, when we have real BSD-unixen with
all the work in the past few years designed around making the OS work better in
a future world of multi-processing servers, rather than a *nix-like OS that
really wants to be Windows2000.

Everytime I visit Linux-land I just don't get it. Kinda like last night when I
took my 10 year old to "Nacho-Libre". I laughed 3 or 4 times. There were 25
people in the theatre. Four girls left after 15 minutes. Yet there was about a
half dozen guys that seemed to get *every* joke, and almost was a caused them to
fall out of their seats every 5 minutes. They thought that movie was the best
thing they had seen in their life.

I guess I just don't get Linux in the same way I don't get the Napoleon Dynamite
style of comedy.
