The *MAJOR* ``greenhouse gas'' is water vapor.  Carbon dioxide is
a very small factor, and only a miniscule part of the CO2 is of
human origin, with the majority coming from natural sources
including volcanoes.

The most important factor in global temperature is the sun, and
there's nothing that human activity can do to change that.

The tree cover in the U.S. is much greater now than it was at the
beginning of the 20th century.  The companies in the timber
business know that they have to replant after harvesting, and
have been doing so for many years now.

The countries that are the worst polluters are the former Soviet
Union, China, and other 3rd world countries where their poor
economies barely provide for survival (after the kleptrocrats at
the top steal the foreign aid), and they can't afford minor
things like anti-pollution devices.
