FreeBSD and filePro weirdness

u can expect if you make this kind of move:

Actually, my speeds (from Speakeasy.net/speedtest) have been up to 4.8 down
and 1.45 up... but the problme is only at the bad  times of the day... For
MOST of the day I've been getting modem speeds....  They keep claiming
they're going to fix it or are in the process of upgrading equipment at my
head end (Burwick).... been about 3 months of promises to date. If it
doesn't actually get better after the first of the year, I'm going to go
back to a T1 or professional DSL.
