FP Room will allow non-MS browsers for Meeting with FP Technologies and Bud Henschen

NOTE:
The FP Room will allow non-MS browsers (Firefox, MAC, etc.) to function
properly in the meeting room scheduled for 5/18/2005 at 4pm EDT with Bud
Henshen and FP Technologies.

TO ACCOMPLISH THIS, THE LINK TO THE MEETING HAD TO BE CHANGED!! Please make
note of this below.

I heartily recommend that new users of the room stop by beforehand to check
out whether their microphones and speakers work properly. This can be done
most of tonight and all of tomorrow. However, the actual meeting will, of
course, start at 4pm.
(All MAC speakers will work, but some rare input devices (mics) will NOT. No
matter what, MAC users must be at v10.3 or higher. [MAC users?? filePro??
Well, you never know... :-)

On Wednesday, May 18th at 4pm, The FP Room will host Bud Henschen of FP
Technology for a talk with filePro developers and users. He and some FP Tech
staff personnel will discuss the business related aspects of filePro. Where
is it now? What will be happening in the future? Come and ask the questions
you've been wanting to ask.

This will NOT be a discussion of technical topics in a how-to seminar
arrangement as the other FP Room meetings  have been. This meeting will
focus on policies, development issues, directions for filePro, etc.

Look forward to seeing you there.

I will post this message once or twice more by Wednesday. This is a unique
event in filePro's history, and if it goes well, Bud might be persuaded to
do it periodically. So, I hope no one will mind if the notice appears more
than just this once.

If you do not have the v4 conference software, it will bring up a download
dialog. Accept this download and finish the install. It only takes a few
seconds. Once this is working, you will be brought to the Login dialog.
Login as some combination of your name and/or initials. No password is
required. If you have a microphone, you will be able to participate vocally.
Otherwise, you may type and listen.
