Using less to view output

And it also takes it back to my original question, which is "how does
it work on those other systems?"
On a system where it works, what happens if you add:
@WGT
mesgbox "Here we are in @WGT" ; end
Does the output from less not appear until after the messagebox is
shown and responded to? If the output from less does appear before
the messagebox, then where does the messagebox (as well as the rest
of filePro's countdown messages) appear?
Unless your copy of less waits for EOF on the pipe (which I find
unlikely), then what is to stop its output from being intermingled
with filePro's output? And how does it interact with the keyboard
when filePro may be reading from the same keyboard?
Now, I understand that there are people out there where "|less"
works just fine. I just don't see how, unless the file is so small
that filePro can complete its entire output generation before less
even tries to display it.
