Tom,

I've done this a few times but I'm not on-site where this is setup right
now. Here is what I think you need to do:

1. On the Host PC (the one you are connecting to remotely that has filePro
running on it), set up the printer with its normal drivers and make the port
"pcaw". This tells the Host to send printing to the Remote when it is
connected. Give the printer a one or two word name to keep it simple. (The
printer is not physically attached to this computer.)

2. On the Remote PC (the one you will be on when you dial into the Host),
set up the printer with its normal drivers and make the port the actual
printer or USB port where the printer is connected.

3. In the Printer configuration file on the Host, set up a printer with the
destination of 'win:printername' that you can choose when the system has
a -pq on a 'dreport' line. Alternately, you can set up a separate filePro
startup icon on the desktop that uses a different configuration file when
you are remote than it does when you are right there on the Host PC. I've
done that for some of my clients and it seems to work well for them. I've
named the icons "Program Name" and "Program Name from Home" in order to
make it clear which one to use. In this case, the configuration file can
have different default and available printers depending on whether you are
local or remote.

Printing over PC Anywhere will be somewhat slower than if you were there in
person but it beats running back to the office to print something.

I hope I've not forgotten any of the steps. Good luck.
