Hey GI (fileProGI developers, that is)

I could use some advice.
I'm working on a fileProGI application for one of my long-time clients.
They are running filePro on an SCO OpenServer system and will be upgrading
to the latest version and fileProGI (for selected PCs) soon. The
application involves manufacturing shop-floor reporting of time and
attendance. Basically it consists of an all-in-one, touch-screen PC with a
barcode slot reader attached. The PCs will not have a mouse or keyboard
attached. All data entry will be via barcode (employee ID card and shop
paperwork) and button pressing responses to prompts on the touch-screen.
Everything is going well so far in the development stage. My main concern
at this point is the client wants the PCs to be able to boot up and go
directly into the time and attendance initial screen where it prompts for
the employee ID card to be read.
Of course, I can get the XP Pro PC to start automatically and launch a
program. My question is: how do I get fileProGI to accept a login and
password automatically? I guess this is similar to a "kiosk" sort of a
setup where no user response is needed or wanted in order to get the program
running.
Also, I'd like to figure out a way to keep the users from closing the
'window' where fileProGI is running. Is that possible?
Thanks in advance for your input,
Steve Wiltsie
