Any of the SYMBOL PDT (PDT-8146) terminals would work great too. It's a
PDA with Buildin Barcode Scanner and 802.11.

My stockroom runs 2 of them atm on a FP / Apache / Custom CGI ( fpCGI
works great too) for Job Stagings.

They also have a wireless Zebra QL (420) Series printer on their Staging
Carts. Stock labels on Demand at the cart, instead of
running back to a Fixed location Datamax printer.

Subject: filePro on a wireless PDA

I would like to have someway for my plant managers to access our
filePro database using a wireless PDA. Has anyone ever done that or
heard about someone who has? The best way I can think of to do this is
to use fpCGI and get a pda capable of web browsing. My company already
has an intranet via a local web server set up. Is there a better way to
do this? Is there something I'm missing? Any suggestions on a PDA (I
guess it doesn't have to be a PDA, as long as it is small and wireless)?
I thought I'd check with you guys before I went out and bought
everything. Thanks for any help.
