filePro on a wireless PDA

What kind of wireless network are you connecting to?
I have a Sharp Zaurus SL-5500, it runs Linux (I'm sure you could run
FP on it if you really wanted, however I'm sure it's missing some
libraries that FP requires) and has a small pull out thumb keyboard.
I also have for it a CF 802.11b (WEP Only, no WPA) card for it. Since
the Zaurus is Linux based you have terminal access so you could just
telnet to the FP box from the Zaurus and run it as you would on a PC,
I'm not sure how well it would scale but it can't be that bad. I've
used it many times to get shell access to a variety of boxes. You
also have the fpCGI option as well but I think using telnet or SSH
from the PDA would work and be very cool; unfortunately I don't have
access to a FP box at the moment or I would give it a run!
I do think the PocketPC and PalmOS platforms have telnet and SSH
clients and most come with integrated wireless, so I would look for a
PDA that supports the wireless architechture that you're running and
then whatever OS that PDA runs look for telnet/ssh software and see
what you come up with.
Good luck!
