Synchronized files

I am using Windows XP, Filepro native windows 5.0.14D9. Single user
As  backup strategy I am using Automate which allows me to synchronize the
FP and filepro directories, writing only those files that have changed since
the last backup. It appears as if I have all the files. Nothing is zipped.

However when I copy Filepro\Iidetail from the backup directory to the main
filepro directory, it writes the file and appears in the directory, and in
filepro it appears as a file choice, but it really doesn't see it.
I cant open it or do anything with it.

Could it be that filepro wants all the file updates to be done only by
Filepro? Is there something I can do here? Or am I back to zipping the
files?
